The Kalahari

After landing in Windhoek, we headed straight down in our Hilux to the Kalahari near Mariental. We stayed at Bagatelle Kalahari ranch, which was a converted farm. We had a strawbale chalet - the walls were made of haybales. There was a resident springbok, loads of cats, and some scary prehistoric beetles. We took a game drive with Dube that evening, and had our first Namibian sundowner. Our first beautiful sunset as well...
