Vogelstrausskluft - our accommodation near the canyon

We stayed at Vogelstrausskluft near(ish) to Fish River Canyon, as our first choice (Canyon Lodge) was booked out. It was fine - the bathroom was nicely done, and the room basic but inoffensive. A little cold at night. The best part about the lodge was the little resident dog - Mojo. You can see him to Simon's left as they head down the path into the valley next to the lodge. Mojo came along on the entire walk with us, and his little legs struggled a little to get back up the hill. Apparently he then went to sleep for two hours. Later when we were the only people in the huge cavernous bar area, Mojo brought in his chewed up tennis ball, and we had fun throwing it for him.
